Well this past week my laptop got a virus and it was a good one. It makes Ebola and Swine Flu look like chicken pox. Whatever it was got in so deep that it infiltrated my hidden partition on my harddrive and deleted the reserve backup file. Now I have a hunk of junk and until I can get someone to look at it no digital art for me. I tried installing Corel and my wacom on my desktop but this just isn't working to well.
Hopefully I can have it up and running before I leave again for another month at work. I really need the laptop and I suppose I could draw traditionally but I really have fallen in love with the digital media and I don't particularly like scanning images on my home scanner as it is not in the best of shape. The scanner at home causes a orange color on the images.
For good news though. I sold my first shirt at zazzle.com. You can find some of my work on zazzle.com here is direct link to my zazzle site. www.zazzle.com/darth_mater or just look for Darth_Mater. There is another user named Darthmater but that is not me.
I really like the site. I don't get paid much but I have nothing but time invested and my artwork. Hopefully this will work out for me.
Thanks for all that have viewed, visited, and commented on my work. Thank you all very much!

2013
When I was 13 I wished to be 20. Now it is almost 2013 and I'm almost 42 wishing I was 24. How time seems to fly. Years are compressed into measures made by man in an attempt to grasp at the reality of an infinite concept in a definite form. While the planets turn and the revolution continues of the solar system in a clockwork fashion the demise of our planet is misforetold! Alas the calendar will soon shed it's last leaf of the year and a new cycle will begin. The hourglass will be reset. All in attempt of progress the young will yern for the new year and the old will look towards with perhaps fear or optimism. Let us hope that as a race of
When I'm Gone My Art Will Still Be
I haven't been on here in a while. It is interesting to look back at my artwork and reflect. I have started revising some of my older pieces. My artwork will hopefully live on long after I'm gone. I have seen some of it being used and regenerated through the web. To me my digital artwork is my digital immortality. Long after I am gone my artwork will live on and hopefully this site will be still be around. I know nothing last forever but there is hope that my future great great great grandchildren can look back and reflect upon who I was through my artwork and writings. To all my friends I thank you!
Changes in Latitude Changes in Attitude
Well it has been a while since I've actually posted on here. I have not been doing that much Star Wars Art. In fact I don't know that I've done any Star Wars art in a while. The last time I posted was in the spring and now it is almost past summer.Summer will soon be gone. I did mangaged to get the adirondack chairs and table painted and now I want to paint some more. I have so many ideas for these and they are kind of fun once you get the base primer and base coat of paint on them. I start with unfinished chair and am learning as I go.
Also got a lot of work to do with making didgeridoos. I couldn't believe the demand for these until I star
Spring
Well spring is here and none to soon. I'm so ready for warmer weather and hope to get some inspiration. I haven't posted much work as of lately and I have been busy painting some things on canvas with acrylic. I have a couple of projects that are more functional use. I want to paint a couple of adirondack chairs with a tropical motif either to sell or use around the pool. Got a lot of projects to do when I get home but that will be another month before I get a chance to do all that. I started painting a picture on large 24x36 canvas of the Bass with the snag and I hope to get it finished next time I'm home. It really takes a lot of time paint
